Process — For Investors
Access is granted by invitation. Each investor is verified as an accredited investor under SEC Regulation D before receiving portal credentials.
Review deal terms, financial structures, creative teams, and offering documents for each opportunity in The Aquila Room.
Sign a non-binding Letter of Intent to participate. Once the closing threshold is met, our team initiates the formal subscription process.
For Filmmakers
Altair is a marketplace of investment vehicles sponsored and managed by Lyrae Ventures. Where Lyrae elects to sponsor a vehicle for a project, that vehicle raises from Lyrae’s own investors and invests into the production entity as a portfolio company.
This application is how a production is considered for that. Completing it does not create an offering, does not commit Lyrae Ventures to anything, and does not make you a client of Lyrae Ventures or of its counsel.
You are never charged anything. There is no application fee, listing fee, success fee, or expense reimbursement of any kind. No money flows from a production to Lyrae Ventures at any stage.
Lyrae Ventures works for its investors. If it sponsors a vehicle for your project, it is investing alongside you — it is not acting as your agent, your placement agent, or your fundraiser.
How it works
It takes about three minutes. If Lyrae Ventures wants to look further, we will send you a private link to the full application — there is nothing else to fill in until then.
Project, entity, team, budget, financing, use of proceeds, governance and reporting. Everything you send is held in confidence and used only to evaluate this application.
A screen required under Rule 506(d), and a signature. A “yes” does not by itself end the application, but an inaccurate answer does.
Lyrae Ventures may decline an application for any reason or for none, without explanation.
